THIS IS A PART TIME PERMANENT POSITION TAKING INTO ACCOUNT A GOOD
WORK/LIFE BALANCE.
You will be part of the management team which reports directly to the
Board of Management.
REQUIREMENTS:
* Minimum QQI level 6 in an accredited Early Years qualification.
* Minimum 2 years’ experience in childcare supervision
* Ability to lead and motivate a team of educators through support,
guidance and mentoring.
* Ability to ensure a safe environment. Relevant knowledge of health
and safety regs and safeguarding practise.
* Be responsible for developing, delivering and managing daily
operations of the centre to ensure a developmentally appropriate
environment for the children, in line with all regulatory
requirements.
* Excellent interpersonal skills
* Excellent communication skills, must be fluent in English
* Strong knowledge of the Aistear Curriculum Framework and Siolta
Quality Standards
* Knowledge of play based, child led, emergent curriculum along with
the ability to respond to children’s individual interests and
document learning.
* Ability to ensure record keeping is up to date: attendance, daily
safety checks, organising CPD training etc..
* Föll clean Drivers Licence.
